Hello! My name is Lucy and I've started dabbling in sewing in 2008 but became serious in 2010 and began my macrame journey in 2008 as well. Sewing is my main passion and I love to reuse/find fabric at second stores whenever I can! I use a combination of new/second hand in my fabric creations~I mostly use my vintage 1964 Kenmore sewing machine for applique, zig zag, and straight stitching, my computerized Brother for the decorative top stitching you will find on all my patchwork, and and Elna overlock/serger. I do not use an embroidery machine (I honestly have never even seen one!). I took a bit of a hiatus for a few years (from about 2015-2020 I wasn't sewing a whole lot) but when I came back into my sewing craft, I sought out to try something different. First nspired by curved seam sewing technique, I played around with that for awhile and then found wave landscape technique by PriganArt and began combining the two to create my own unique pieces. Each piece of fabric is cut randomly and after each piece cut, I stitch so it's a lot of back n forth to my sewing machine -you can find examples of the techniques and my process posted on all my social media accounts 💜
Each creation I put out contains a part of my soul. I am deeply inspired by nature, crystals, the moon, mushrooms, the cosmos, consciousness, music, all things magical✨🌀 I put a lot of love, thought, and intention into my work to create one of a kind, unique wearable art for anyone who chooses to love and enjoy just as much as I do!💜🌈💫✨
